Half of Online Americans use the Internet for Religious Purposes

Here’s some new research from Ron Sellers, http://greymatterresearch.com

Many implications, but this again raises the bar for churches and ministries to take a fresh look at their online presence. We all need outside perspective. (Hint, Hint…)

A few standouts:

· 17% of respondents have visited the website of a church or place of worship they were not attending.

· 19% have visited a website designed to provide religious instruction or learning during the last six months.

· 14% have a pastor or other religious leader as a friend on Facebook or a similar social network site.

Also interesting is a report from earlier this year about the most influential brands on Twitter.  Kudos to our client Joyce Meyer.  Read about it HERE
