John Eldredge
What we did:
We produced the video series, from concept to creation, pre-production, location scouting, sets, filming/directing/producing and all the post production to final product including DVD Authoring. We were careful to seamlessly integrate with John Eldredge’s/Ransomed Heart’s already well respected and established brand.
Each chapter in John’s book was devoted to a unique aspect of a guy’s journey into manhood. We wanted to put John and his ideas around which the message is written, into the situations and environments men often find themselves in throughout the various stages of their lives. Instead of simply speaking from a pulpit, we had John teaching inside of a boxing ring, working on his truck in his garage, and saddling up his horse, among others.
Creating a buzz. Helping to promote:
The job doesn’t end with the Teaching DVDs. We were also asked to create a movie style promotional trailer that is used online, in podcasts, on DVD at live events and more! We scripted, shot and edited this piece to help tell the story of Fathered by God. Check out the Trailer here.
Thinking ahead:
This Video message was all shot and edited in full HD, then delivered on 2 standard DVDs. One of the benefits to shooting and editing everything in HD from the very start of the project is that when the client is ready, we will be ready to go with custom BluRay DVD authoring too.
