Vaughn Street was asked to develop a new website for Ed Gungor. Ed is an Author, Speaker and Pastor of The Peoples Church in Tulsa, OK. Ed’s current website was built entirely in Flash. This posed some challenges. While it looked great and had some cool Flash effects, the navigation and page loads at times were cumbersome. Our job was to redesign and reorganize the site based on the current Flash design but in an .html page friendly format with minor Flash enhancements. This would improve navigation and site functionality, allow for better search engine indexing and provide the users with a better experience.
The new redesign included:
- Full design, development, and implementation of website
- HTML page building/scripting
- Blog Creation and Customization
- Creation of Flash Media content players for both MP3 audio files and Flash Movies.
- Podcast links (both for iTunes sign-up and direct links to media content on the site.)
- Creation of Flash rotating banner ad
- Creation of an online interactive form for users to contact the ministry
- Construction of store page with 9 products
- Full implementation and customization of an e-commerce system to allow for purchase of products directly from site.
The site is set to go live in the coming months.
